Christopher Rempe | The Art of Everyday Products

About this Artist

Growing up, Christopher had always been drawn to the family’s point and shoots. It let him explore his passions of nature, family, and Lego and show them off to the world from his point of view. This is still something that drives his photography to this day. He’s noticed that whenever he’s in nature, exploring tech, or on his snowboard hitting the slopes, he is always visioning how he would take a photo of something.

About this Work

We use products every day. From our phones, to our TVs, to our toasters, these things can be really important to us. But do we ever stop, take a closer look at them, and admire their design? Product designers can spend months, if not years designing something that functions, looks good doing it, and is manufacturable. Some want their products to stand out, some want them to stand in, but the art that they create can go unnoticed. I have decided to shine a light on three of those products, ones that I find interesting, and hope that you start appreciating the design of everyday products.
