Colin Fox is a Seattle-based photographer. My interest in photography began in Ireland - a long career in the semiconductor industry had extensive travel all around the world and living in multiple locations. The Pacific Northwest is now home to me, and has given renewed time to explore my passion in photography and share it with others. Motivated to continue this journey.
About this Work
Personal evolution of my photography style, being drawn into observing structures and life in monochrome. My vision is to present details that typically are not noticed by the public which resulted in this body of work. Presenting these images with high contrast black and white images, sharp angular lines, higher percentage of negative space, capturing light and shadows to enhance the subject. The QR code will lead you to a specific song - listen while viewing my photo. While composing my images this music is a reflection of the atmosphere and emotion I’m experiencing during that moment.
