I work at PAWS Shelter. After really knowing the personalities of the dogs that come in, I had questioned why some weren’t getting adopted. After looking at their adoption photos, I realized that some of the photos weren’t showing the lovable and playful side of the dogs. These days I take on the role of Adoption Photographer. I make sure to capture the personalities of all the dogs at the shelter, so when people look at these photos, it will convince them that this is a dog worth getting to know.
About this Work:
Don’t judge a book by its cover. Now replace “book” with “dog”. A lot of people see many sides of a scared dog. It can be from nonstop barking and jumping all the way to being so scared that they hide under the bed to feel safe. When I look at a dog, I see way more than just barking. I see a dog who doesn’t want to be in the loud and stressful shelter, one who could use some extra TLC through this rough patch, and a forever family to call their own.
