About this Artist:
The heart of my work is storytelling. As a photographer I work to create images that tell a story, express a truth, and reveal something that may not otherwise be seen. I approach my subjects without preconceptions, allowing the process of photography to be one of discovery and collaboration, leading to a deeper understanding of each subject.
About this Work:
Seen is an exploration of identity, made in collaboration with people in their teens and twenties. Seen reflects the discord between how we see ourselves and how we are perceived by others, as well as the innate human desire to be truly seen for who we are.
